Siddhanth Deshpande is currently employed as an Engineering Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he is dedicated to developing and making accessible top-tier AI/ML features and tools for AWS clients on a large scale.


Before his current position, Deshpande gained over a decade of experience at AWS as an Engineering Lead. He was instrumental in developing and managing innovative web services in areas like message distribution (Amazon SQS/SNS), digital customer engagement (Amazon Pinpoint), cloud computing (Amazon EC2), machine learning (Amazon SageMaker), and infrastructure automation. He is known as an expert in key AWS areas, including operational excellence, AWS region development, and security frameworks.


He is motivated by a passion for creating innovative technologies that provide substantial value to his customers, including many Fortune 100 companies, and benefit the wider community. Before AWS, he obtained a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, focusing on wireless/mobile networks and computer vision.
